The Hanover Police Department Mountain Bike Officers
The Hanover Police Department Mountain Bike Patrol consists of several different police officers who are trained for Police Mountain Bike Patrol. Officers go through a 3 day training course called C.O.B.W.E.B. ( Cops on Bicycles with Education for Bicyclists) to get certified. These officers are available on patrol and for bike safety days and other event. The mountain bike gives the officers strategically added advantages on patrol while helping the officers to maintain a level of exercise and good health in their daily life and get up close and personal with the citizens of the community.
