The Hanover Police Department welcomes you to our web site

The Hanover Police Department continues to provide the residents of our town and visitors with professional service and care. The Hanover Police Department is regarded as a proactive agency that is in the forefront with community policing programs and activities. These activities and programs incorporate officer participation and citizen involvement. The Department has been recognized for many of these innovative programs. The National Crime Prevention Council recognized the Hanover Police Department for the innovative Drug and Alcohol Awareness program that is held annually at the Hanover Mall.

The Drug and Alcohol Awareness Fair incorporates the philosophy of cooperation by all aspects of the community for a common purpose. This event is a prime example of the many programs that the Department presents on a regular basis. It is our intent to continue with new ideas and a proactive atmosphere that will enhance our efforts to provide the best service possible. This year's fair we be held on October 13 and October 14, 2006 at the Hanover Mall.
