Application
The Citizens Police Academy is an educational program designed to offer residents and business owners an opportunity to learn about the Hanover Police Department’s functions and services. It is in no way designed to train individuals to perform law enforcement functions. The training will consist of classroom instruction, tours and practical demonstrations by various members of the department. These lessons should give students a more realistic view of the way law enforcement personnel perform their duties within the town. Attendance in a least seven out of the ten regularly scheduled (range, correctional facility tour and ride along are not required) classes is necessary for the successful completion of this course.
