Project Outreach

From the website

What is Project Outreach?

Project Outreach is a collaboration of Public Safety Agencies and Healthcare Providers created to respond to the ever growing number of opiate overdoses by conducting follow-up visits within 12-24 hours after an overdose.  The program is not limited to those addicted to opiates, it is for everyone impacted by addiction.

Please visit for more information.

Below are forms that can be filled out and submitted to the Office of the Clerk Magistrate at the Hingham District Court or any District Court whose jurisdiction where you may reside.  These documents will be reviewed by a Judge and Medical Clinician who will determine a course of action and will in most cases issue a Court Order for an individual to be committed for Court Ordered Treatment for a specific period of time.  This can be done without the services of an attorney.

Toys for Tots

On Saturday December 12 2015 the Hanover Police Department members along with members of the Hanover Fire Department and U.S Marine Corps Reserve will be at the Hanover Mall collecting toys for the Toys for Tots program. This years theme will be #fillthecruiser. Members of all three organization will be at the mall from 3pm to 9pm accepting new unwrapped presents to be donated to children in need. This event could not happen without local resident and business donations to the Hanover Police Relief Association, the Hanover Firefighter IAFFL2726 and our corporate donations from The Hanover Mall and Walmart. Uniformed members of the police and fire departments will be located inside the mall outside of Walmart.

Please stop by and drop off a toy for a good cause. For more information visit our Facebook page or give us a follow on Twitter @HanoverPolice. We look forward to seeing you for a great cause.
